My love for Africa began long before I set off on my first trip to this incredible continent in 2012. As far back as I can remember, I dreamed of traveling there and my first encounter did not disappoint.
The moment I stepped onto African soil, I felt like I was home. I felt complete, like my soul had been there forever...and I think it still is. That first trip did something to me, it changed me in a way I cannot explain.

There’s something about Africa that gets under your skin....it is hard to find the words to describe how it has changed me.
Was it the beautiful people that showed me what true humility is....was it the incredible nature I was surrounded by everyday....was it being out of my comfort zone and realizing how freeing and exhilarating that could feel.....was it just being me, letting go and feeling like my soul had connected to something bigger than myself...I'm not sure?!
